Commitment

This site is meant to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. It targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance.

Supported features

• Keyboard navigation. Interactive elements are operable by keyboard, with skip links and visible focus indicators.
• Screen reader support. Pages use semantic HTML with labeled landmarks and headings.
• Reduced motion. The site honors the “prefers reduced motion” setting, and the presentation offers a static scene-by-scene edition with no animation dependency.
• Text alternatives. The presentation has a reflowable transcript edition, media moments carry captions, and the Shortcut Lab's print materials have an accessible text companion.
• Not color alone. Status and feedback states are conveyed with text and shape, not color alone.
• Responsive layout. Pages remain usable across viewport sizes and at increased zoom.

Known limitations

• The downloadable PDFs are visual print tools. Their content is provided in accessible form on the accessible Lab companion, which is the recommended non-visual route.
• Some presentation media moments are visually rich; their meaning is also carried by captions, on-screen text, and the transcript edition, but the visual experience itself is not fully reproducible in text.
• Live venue features (joining a session from the room) depend on the venue's own equipment and network, which this site does not control.

Reporting barriers

If something on this site is hard to use with assistive technology, please describe the barrier and the page where it happens. By design the site offers no email channel; reports can be shared with the author in person at the sessions this site accompanies, and issues will be addressed as quickly as practical.
